Uranus is kind and humanitarian, while the twelfth house represents our need to be charitable and to make sacrifices. Here the flow of feeling and an instinctive urge to be of help is blended with the logical and unemotional approach characteristic of the cool, detached, Uranian influence.
Sometimes the subject with this placing will distance him or herself from a close permanent relationship in order to take up some caring vocation, or to tend an elderly relative. A deep-rooted psychological motivation may be present, for while the out-ward expression will be marvelously positive for the person for whom sacrifices are made, the individual themselves may well shy away from living a fulfilling existence with a partner.
The person with Uranus in the twelfth house is predisposed to convoluted eccentricities or occult aspirations. In either event, they keep their deeper yearnings to themselves.
They are likely to have startling psychic experiences, but may hesitate to divulge them for fear of being misunderstood. They may rebel against fate, questioning the meaning of existence and nourishing their resentment that a supposedly omnipotent God should have created so imperfect a world.
However, if they can break through their ego-bound impatience into an intuitive understanding of the cosmic plan, the voice of the higher Self may give the answers they seek by dissolving the questions.
This is a very interesting placing for Uranus. Although Uranus and the twelfth/Pisces house are so different, they also come together extremely well in many ways.
