the world remembers a person for. Positions of authority, honor, and prestige.
Fame. Profession or career. The father. Affairs of state. Large-scale
organizations.
When
Pluto is in the tenth house, power may be based on unseen factors. Under
affliction, this can signify connections with the underworld or reliance on
secret weapons.
An
underlying resentment of people in authority may lead to conflict with the
father, a father figure, or with the government. There is a compulsion to
exercise firm, or even dictatorial control over matters of public concern and
to remain exclusively in command.
Success
may be achieved in fields which tap the hidden resources of man and nature
such as occultism, psychotherapy, mining, and atomic research.
An
elevated Pluto can stimulate the desire to dominate people's bodies, or the
will to release their souls from bondage.
The
individual will need to be very much emotionally involved in the career or, if
no career is followed, it is important that they have a particular goal or
compelling objective for which to aim.
Perhaps
the subject is an empire builder, or simply has a great deal of emotional
energy to exploit.
Every
encouragement to expend such energy positively should be given, since there is
considerable potential to be used here, and it must be expressed to the full.
Otherwise,
as is so common with a Pluto/Scorpio influence, it can easily turn sour, and
