Moon in the seventh house gives a desire for social acceptance. A capacity to
react to the subtle ambience of a situation makes this a person who can fit in
almost anywhere. Their concern with what others are saying can produce a
shallow preoccupation with fashion's changing fads and fancies, or it can
underlie the ability to establish lines of sympathetic rapport with congenial
associates.
Marriage
is often undertaken for the sake of acquiring a home, and the family and
social background of a potential partner is a compelling factor in determining
whether they will be the chosen one. Changes in marital status are brought on
by the spouse rather than by the person themselves.
While
in many ways this placing adds to the individual's ability to respond well and
sensitively to the partner's needs, there is a tendency to submerge the self
totally in him or her. The resulting need for continuous rapport and
togetherness with the partner, cultivated for emotional security, may lead to
a lack of self-sufficiency.
The
way in which the emotions are expressed towards the partner may not be

interpersonal relationships, particularly in marriage, is very important. The
relationship itself should be nurtured, and even more care should be given to
