naturally communicative Mercury finds a congenial milieu in the seventh house
of social relationships. There is a tendency to form alliances with clever,
articulate people and to seek a mate who can mirror passing thoughts and serve
as an alter ego. Partners can be quick-witted and volatile, but not
necessarily stable.
This
position often instills a hankering to keep up with the world of the
intelligentsia and to be "in the know." It makes an effective
promoter of ideas who can tune in on public opinion and express themselves in
a manner befitting the exigencies of a particular time and place.
The
mind will grow and mature through human relationships more than by the study
of books. One should be objective about and try to bring clarity to any
relationship.
A
good level of friendship is very necessary within personal relationships, and
while the subject will have an excellent ability to communicate with the
partner, this must be reciprocated. Gullibility, and a tendency to fall into
the partner's way of thinking, can sometimes cause problems.
This
is a lively house placing for anyone in a business partnership, and the
individual may be a gifted salesperson, or able to convey ideas to partners,
