associates. Business connections and spheres of influence. The people who share one's ideals.
Altruism. The rewards derived from the ambitions of the tenth house.
The Sun in
the eleventh house promises benefits from influential friends and
well-wishers, largely because it gives the ability to befriend others. These
people usually enjoy working with groups and can take a position of
responsible leadership in political, recreational, and cultural associations.
Their approach to life is liberal and broad-minded. Often they can identify
with so many points of view that they find it hard to understand why people
should cherish their exclusive attitudes. However, if one tries too hard to
please everyone, they may dissipate their energies to the point where no one
is satisfied. They are fundamentally humanitarian and would rather be popular
than powerful.
Here is a
social animal who needs to make his or her mark within the community. He or
she will expend solar energies in the development and enjoyment of group
activities, very often with humanitarian overtones.
Charitable
fund-raising, for example, could be an important and successful involvement
for the individual. Don't forget the purely creative power of the Sun, which
here can be expressed as a considerable source of inspiration to others, with
group activities making the results well worthwhile. Care is needed, however,
that the individual does not try to take control as soon as they come on the
scene. Instead, they should defer to others (and especially older,
long-standing members of an organization), even if they think they could run
things better themselves.
Despite
needing everything that a full and rewarding social life brings, the subject
must be careful not to distance themselves from close contact with others.
There can be conflict here, but they should be able to look at the situation
in a rational and objective way. The life may need to be divided into
compartments, so that there will be good close relationships and an ability to
express love, while at the same time the person aims to fulfill all the needs
and expression of the Sun's energies through eleventh house matters.
